The Falls at Reeds Island is one of the top destinations for an intimate wedding in Hawaii.
The stunning rainforest and waterfall setting provides the perfect backdrop for a Hawaii Elopement or Intimate Destination Wedding on the Big Island. It was an honor to work with Carolyn and Jeremy to create this perfect Lux Elopement Package complete with a gourmet picnic for them to enjoy at the waterfall’s edge.
For the design, we wanted the arch to represent the vintage and classic elegance of Carolyn’s dress and the stunning waterfall backdrop. We developed this romantic “cascading” concept to mimic the flow of the waterfall in a delicate way. The tendrils of woven florals in soft colors reflected the detail in Carolyn’s vintage dress while the mix of tropical flowers like orchids and protea ensured that it fit the very lush, exotic setting.
