This is a throwback to one of our gorgeous Anna Ranch Heritage Center weddings that was featured on Style Me Pretty.
When you have been planning weddings on Hawaii Island for over a decade, you have an extensive portfolio behind you. I can only really showcase a fraction of this online and as the years pass, some of the beautiful weddings from the past get left behind.
I had to pull this beauty out of the vault because this couple was just so stunning and they were so fun and receptive to my creative design ideas.
It was featured on Style Me Pretty because of all the gorgeous little details and uniqueness of the venue for a Hawaii Wedding and it still holds its magic today!
Michaela wanted a lei but she wanted it to be a statement piece, so I worked with Grace Flowers in coming up with a design for a flower “shawl”. Now, these are more common but at the time, this was really cutting edge and different! It was so loved we had another request shortly after that can be seen here: Mauna Kea Luxury Wedding! I like to even think that we maybe even started this unique trend here!
Additionally, the escort display was created from a collection of old frames and the hand calligraphy inside was done by Miss B Calligraphy. This was also one of the first of its kind then!
I just love looking back on all my work and finding that many of my events remain timeless and beautiful even today.
I love reflecting back on how I have always try to lead with creativity and be original in the industry so each couple gets an experience as unique as their love!
