Kona Village Rosewood Weddings are our new favorite! Especially for their Black Sand Beach Wedding Location on the Big Island!

We think Kona Village Rosewood Weddings on a Black Sand Beach in Hawaii are what wedding dreams are made of! The luxury service in a relaxed setting makes for the ultimate Hawaii Destination Wedding experience for you and your guests.

We our honored to be one of the first Wedding Coordinators selected to plan weddings at this incredible property! Additionally, we look forward to many more events there in the future.

Black Sand Beach Wedding Locations on Hawaii Island can be difficult to find. However, the new Kona Village Rosewood has one that is absolutely stunning!

Kona Village Rosewood Wedding

Previously, only private locations like this one or a public black sand beach in the very southern most area of the Island was possible. Now, the Rosewood has made a more luxurious black sand wedding option a reality!

Over our 13 years as Wedding Planners, Coordinators and Designers on the Big Island of Hawaii, we have been privileged to work at some of the top resort wedding venues in Hawaii.

The new best is the incredible Kona Village Rosewood. This venue was recently restored after being damaged by a tsunami many years ago. We are excited to share it has just been voted as one of the World’s Best Resorts. And for good reason! The resort offers an array of stunning grassy lawns dotted with swaying palm trees and ocean views. These incredible locations are also very private, especially when you buy out all the surrounding “hales” or homes nearby. If black sand beaches aren’t your thing, there are also more lush options or traditional beach wedding ceremony locations as well.

Perhaps most surprising is this venue is not incredibly more expensive than other less luxurious resorts like the Mauna Lani Auberge.

In fact, we found that when you added up all the extra fees, resort fees, and service charges that the Auberge sneaks in, the Rosewood actually provided much more value for weddings. The Mauna Lani Auberge charges for equipment upgrades like wood tables or nicer wooden chairs, which come standard with the Rosewood. The Mauna Lani also charge for things like bartending. And, at the Mauna Lani, your guests can expect to pay an extra $45 for resort fees a night plus $40 for parking. The Kona Village Rosewood has no resort fees at all. In sum, we have found there is a lot of hidden value in what the Rosewood has to offer and the service far exceeds that of the Mauna Lani.

For a wedding at a resort wedding venue like this, you need a top wedding planning and coordination team. We have unmatched experience with luxury events and resort weddings in Hawaii.

We have helped many wealthy and famous clients bring their dream weddings to life. One example is Pretty Little Liars star Janel Parrish. See our work Planning, Coordinating and Designing her wedding in People Magazine! We have worked with many clients whose budget exceed $100k and have helped bring their destination wedding dreams to life!

We are now actively planning weddings at the Kona Village Rosewood. Additionally, we are perhaps the first to be doing so for large events. Soon we will have an abundance of experience at this location. Additionally, we feel our experience at other luxury wedding venues on the Big Island makes us the planner of choice for this wedding venue. We look forward to assist you with your event there!

If a Kona Village Rosewood Wedding is out of your budget, don’t worry! Hawaii Island has a number of other top resorts wedding locations that can be more budget friendly!
