This Cheerful Modern Wedding Design is loaded with gorgeous bright blooms and epic Hawaii Beach Wedding backdrops
We had so much fun designing this wedding in collaboration with the bride’s sister who is also a designer. We wanted to find a balance between minimalist and bold and I believe that was achieved! The bright wedding florals by Anuenue Flowers on the luxuriously textured light taupe linens made the perfect pair. Meanwhile the traditional Japanese candies, special to the couple, added a pop of color on the place settings.
The black trim on the napkins from BBJ La Tavola Linens along with the gold and black dipped flatware from Hawaii Island Events added just the right amount of modern and edge while still keeping things classic. The tropical mood was set with smooth music from Bula and Photographer James Rubio delivered as always on these stunning images capturing it all! After all these years, planning and coordinating weddings on the Big Island still feels like a dream!
The Mauna Lani as a resort has been around on the Big Island for decades but is better for weddings now than ever!
We remember doing weddings there when we first started 12 years ago. However, we could see it starting to age as the years went by and were thrilled when Auberge Resorts brought this property up to its fullest potential!
Now, the Mauna Lani Resort is once again a fantastic spot for weddings on the Big Island and since its reopening, we have been honored to be the Wedding Planners, Coordinators and Designers for many weddings onsite.
Able to now cater to clients seeking a luxury Hawaii wedding experience, their beachfront locations are hard to beat including the newly opened Papakonane Beach where we will be coordinating a wedding for 100 in November -the largest wedding at this new ceremony site to date.
If you are looking for a fantastic venue that is both luxury and fun, we really do highly recommend this property (not nor never sponsored!).
